The Clear and Peaceful Lake Toya
Don't we all miss travelling, no matter where the destination is? I forgot that I haven't write about the last part of my last Japan autumn trip. The last highlight of my Hokkaido trip was the 1 night visit to Hakodate. On my way to Hakodate, I made a brief stop at Lake Toya, one of the most well known lake in Hokkaido. Since I bought 3 days Hokkaido Rail Pass, I tried to maximise its usage by visiting Lake Toya. So, at first, I just planned to use it for the Otaru and Hakodate visit, but I didn't feel it worth the pass, so after researching, I decided to put Lake Toya in the itinerary since it is located in between Sapporo and Hakodate. We made it to the Toya Station after 100 minutes ride with Limited Express Hokuto train. The station was so quiet early in the morning. From here, you could ride a taxi or bus to reach Toyako Onsen Bus Terminal. This is the first time I got nervous while waiting for the bus in Japan, because usually it's always on time.
